I have found that mixing textures 'wakes up' an outfit. Here I was attending my great aunt's funeral, so black and white is what is expected. As a tall woman, we get so much attention because of our height alone. Depending on our individual personalities it can be overwhelming- we are CONSTANTLY stared at; there are always comments and/or questions.
I prefer to be subtle with my fashion, but my height alone makes everything I do seem so bold. Sometimes I think I may be delusional because, I think I color within the lines, but the response I get from people is as though I am marking ALL OVER the darn page!! Ahhhhhh....
